The BuildBlock Distributor Program
The BuildBlock Partner (Distributor) Program aims to establish a network of professional Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) companies across North America, that are committed to disaster resilient, energy efficient construction while providing exceptional customer service, comprehensive support, and sustainable, profitable growth.
Ideal Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) Partners
Ideal BuildBlock Partners are companies focused on building sales and marketing operations around a top-tier product. Successful ICF partners often have experience in construction material sales and can leverage Insulating Concrete Forms to expand their business and tap into new markets within a thriving industry.

Business Behaviors We Are Looking For
Successful ICF distribution relies on sales, marketing, and services. We recommend focusing on ten key business traits, with sales and marketing as the foundation and services providing the substance and unique value.

Sales
Sales form the backbone of a successful partner company. Product expertise and the ability to engage various customer personas set you apart from competitors. The partner portal offers resources to enhance your skills and tailor pitches for diverse clients.

Material Supply
Material supply is vital for success. While stocking materials isn’t always required, having inventory on hand can save time and costs for contractors. As partners grow, stocking larger quantities and investing in storage space becomes essential.

Competitive Quoting
Understanding your market and competition is crucial for business prosperity. This includes quoting against both ICF competitors and traditional materials like wood frame masonry and steel frame. As ICFs gain popularity as a standard replacement, mastering quotes in these scenarios will drive faster growth.

Trained Contractors
Trained contractors are crucial to ICF dispersion, as partners rely on a network of installers. Developing, training, and retaining these contractors is key to success.

Marketing
Marketing is key to growing a prosperous company, and BuildBlock simplifies this process with ready-to use tools. These include a customizable website, trade show kits, branding materials, and digital assets to support your marketing efforts. Explore the marketing toolbox for resources like banners, flyers, and more.

Design Assistance
Design assistance is essential for helping clients utilize our technology. Most construction projects require designs and plans for approval. Distributors must offer in-house design services or refer clients to architects or home designers.

Access to Credit
To qualify as a partner, businesses must demonstrate access to credit from financial institutions. This ensures the ability to manage operations, invest in growth, and support the financial demands associated with partnership opportunities. Reliable credit access underscores a business’s stability and readiness to collaborate effectively.

Customer Support
Customer support is a key differentiator in business. Companies that respond promptly, answer calls, and follow up consistently gain a competitive edge. BuildBlock advises partners to establish effective communication processes and invest in a CRM system to nurture leads and drive growth.

Technical Support
Technical support is a critical asset for partners. Providing an ICF expert to address design inquiries, assist on jobsites, and solve complex issues sets exceptional partners apart from the rest.

Access to Bracing
Access to bracing is crucial for BuildBlock partners. These businesses depend on a network of contractors for installations, making contractor training, development, and retention vital to success.
